🙏 A Vision That Started with “5 Alive”

In his moving address, Reverend Dr. Johnson Abimbola, our Founding Pastor, shared how Alive Believers Church was birthed 20 years ago when providence met purpose, bringing together five adults and their families Johnson Abimbola, Dee Abimbola, Baderinwa Olusunmade, Tinuola Odukogbe, and Babatunde Ogunbiyi.

In the early days, some skeptics mockingly referred to the small group as “5 Alive”, doubting that such a small beginning could grow into anything meaningful. But as the Bible says, “Despise not the days of small beginnings” (Zechariah 4:10).

Through faith, perseverance, and divine grace, “5 Alive” has now become a thriving church community that has touched hundreds of lives across the UK and the world. We give all glory to God for keeping the “5 Alive” united and faithful in His service to this day.
